For builders

Show homeowners their payments are protected

A badge for your website, quotes and emails. It tells a homeowner, before they ask, how money moves on your jobs.

What it tells homeowners

  • Each stage is funded before it starts. The homeowner pays for a stage before work on it begins, one stage or several at once, so you never have to start a stage before the money for it is in.
  • The money is held securely. Client funds are held by OPP, an FCA-authorised electronic money institution. Renopay is a technology platform and never holds client money.
  • It is released when the stage is approved. The payout is released as soon as the homeowner approves the milestone, and can take up to a day to reach your account.

The badge describes how payments work and nothing else. It is not a review, a vetting mark or a statement about the quality of the work, and Renopay does not endorse individual builders.

Paste this where you want the badge to appear, for example in your footer or on your contact page. It links to this page, so a homeowner who clicks it reads exactly what it means.

A few rules

  • Use it only if your business runs its projects on Renopay.
  • Keep it on a white or light background, at its original colours and proportions.
  • Link it to renopay.co.uk/badge, as the code above does, so homeowners can check what it means.
  • Put it next to your payment terms in quotes, where the deposit conversation usually starts.

Seen this badge on a builder’s website?

It should mean the builder runs their projects on Renopay. The check is the invitation: a builder on Renopay can invite you to your project in the app before any money changes hands. Your builder sets out the job in stages; you fund each stage before it starts, and the money is released to them when you approve the finished stage. Read how it works and how your money is protected, then ask your builder to invite you to your project.
