Do I need a Renopay account?

No. You don't need an account, you don't need to have used Renopay, and you don't need to be in the building trade. If you're over 18 and live in the UK, you can refer.

How many builders can I refer?

As many as you like. There is no limit on referrals, and each qualifying builder earns you a separate £1,000.

Once your referred builder has completed 5 projects of £10,000 or more on the platform. We will contact you to collect your payment details at that point and pay within 30 days.

It means your builder has properly adopted the platform rather than just signing up. For a working builder, five projects is a normal run of jobs.

Can I refer my own builder?

Yes. And your own project counts as one of their 5, so you're already a fifth of the way there.

What if someone else refers the same builder?

Only one referral can be attributed to each builder. The most recent referral before they sign up is the one that counts, so it is worth sending your link sooner rather than later.

Does my builder need to use my link?

Yes, that's how we know the referral came from you. Send them the link directly rather than just mentioning us by name.

Bank transfer, paid gross. Any tax is yours to handle. If you are referring professionally, it is worth a word with your accountant.

Is there a limit on the scheme?

Rewards are available for the first 500 qualifying referrals. Referrals themselves are unlimited. If we ever change or close the scheme, referrals already made are honoured under the terms they were made under.
